Gunning Refractories

We manufacture and supply Refractory Gunning Mixes according to customer requirements.

Refractory Gunning Mixes or Refractory Gunning Masses are produced from granular refractory materials and applied by spraying on area with an air placement gun. It is mainly used for patching and maintenance applications for furnaces.

Dry Gunning Refractory Mixes (Masses)

Dry gunning refractory mix is produced from magnesia gunning material with high quality magnesia sand and special binding material. It is mainly used for repairing the lining of electric furnace, rotating furnace and other industrial furnace.

  • High-temperature resistance
  • Good resistance to corrosion
  • Good resistance to scouring
  • Excellent disintegration performance
  • Convenient installation
  • Easy separation and purifying function
  • Long service life

High Alumina Gunning Refractory Mixes (Masses)

High alumina gunning mixes are mainly used for repair the wall or slag line of eletric arc furnaces, rotary kilns and many other industrial furnaces.

  • High density
  • Small rebound losses
  • Small shrinkage
  • High strength
  • Super adhesion
  • Minimal dust generation

Magnesite Gunning Refractory Mixes (Masses)

Magnesite Gunning Refractory Mixes are produced from high quality magnesia, basic refractory raw materials, binders and additives for use in the steel industry for Tap hole and repair of Electric Arch Furnace.

  • Excellent thermal stability
  • Good sinterability
  • High adhesive strength
  • Good resistance to erosion
  • Good resistance to corrosion
  • Low rebound rate

Magnesia Carbon Gunning Refractory Mixes (Masses)

Magnesia Carbon Gunning Refractory Mixes are mainly used for repair of electric arc furnaces, rotary kilns.

  • High density
  • Lightweight refractory mixes
